Shaggy The Rockband

Fidde Rognås is a guitarist/member of Shaggy from when they started, back in the 70thHe worked his way up to what he have become today, a musician with no limit. He´s not a fast shredding guitarist but he does all his playing with a touch of humility and lots of feeling. Acoustically as well as electrically – really doesn’t matter, as long as there is a good song to play around with. In Shaggy the Rockband, which had a reunion in 2006, he loves playing his Alex Axe Shafsburey, handmade from 48 street N.Y.C N.Y (Manhattan) and still have a passion for the 70th sound and the way music was created at that time. He just have it in his blood. Good or bad, it´s up to the listeners.

This album “ Shaggy the Rockband – Goes acoustic” is a way to reform the heavier original songs to a more laidback creation. Same songs, same meanings and same feeling but with a different suit, and when it comes down to the core, it’s only pure rockn´roll. You can always compare these songs with the original electric versions that´s on the albums: Destination Nowhere, Fighting Angels and Demons, Scarecrow and see what you think. Do not let musical doubts get in your way.

Your sincerely
